[ Hey, have a mildly irritated Rinoa pop on your screens, with a young Growlithe napping off in the background. Her hands are on her hips--yeah, that's right, she's gonna yell at you. ]

Can I just say something? If someone's talking to you, you don't ignore them! Especially if they're just trying to ask you a question...meanie! [ She sticks her tongue out. Yes, she has the maturity of a two year old; how did you guess?

But that seems to calm her down, at any rate, as she seems much more neutral after that outburst. ]

...Sorry about that. I meant for this post to say that Elizabeth and I made it to Cherrygrove the other day! We're waiting here for now.

[ Oh, and she also wanted to ask: ] By the way, how do you earn money here? I don't think what I have will last me forever...

...Hey, Quisty? [ A pause as she figures out how to word this. ]

Um...so I was talking to this guy who looked kind of like Squall, and he said to ask you about him. And then he wouldn't answer my questions...

What's up with him?

You earn money by working for it. There's places in every town that'll hire you if you ask.

I don't know what's normal where you come from, but here they can have you filing medical paperwork or working behind a store counter.

It's not. If you're over eighteen, they'll give you full hours. If you're younger than eighteen you'll be stuck with part-time work. They still pay you anyway.

[ A beat while Quistis catches up with the whole mess, and another while she contemplates exactly how much of an idiot she is. ]

Oh, Hyne, Rinoa, I'm sorry! I completely forgot to say anything; I should have warned you.

That... That's Leon. I honestly haven't asked for many details, but he's... he's not Squall. The resemblance really is uncanny, but....

He doesn't seem to appreciate being mistaken for Squall, and, well — he's not all that different from Squall, either. Just don't tell him I said that. He prefers to be left alone, I think, but you know his type.

[ She's a bit quiet after that. Leon didn't seem that withdrawn when she met him; in fact, he initiated contact. It strikes her as strange that he'd refuse to answer Rinoa's questions. ]

... Was he upset? [ She assumes Rinoa can tell. ]

[ She's quiet for most of while Quistis is speaking, just taking it all in. ]

...Leon. [ She repeats just to confirm; how hard would it have been for him to just say that? ] You know him?

Was he upset...? [ Pause. Think. It's hard to tell tone from text. ] Um. I asked him if he was Squall, so maybe?

[ After a beat: ] He used text, though, so I'm not sure.

We're acquainted; I've never met him in person. He's... fairly friendly with me, though, by his standards.

[ She sighs. It's not Rinoa she's exasperated with, it's Leon — she can't sort out why he'd be acting like this. ] I'm sorry for him. I mean, it's not my responsibility to apologize for him, but like I said, I should have warned you.

I'll talk to him and find out what's wrong, okay?

[ There's a brief pause. ] Squall is here. But to be honest, I've seen less of him than I have of Leon. It's... a little irritating, but then, it's Squall... I shouldn't expect any less. [ Her tone is a touch sharp. ]

Well, you've done better than I have! [ Small attempt at light-hearted humor. She didn't mean to make Quisty frustrated. :( ]

...No, it's okay. I kind of showed up suddenly, after all, and we haven't had much time to talk!

[ Sheepishly: ] But yeah, if you could talk to him, that'd probably be best. I can't think of what I did wrong...

...Wait. Squall's here too? [ Give her a minute. She's not sure whether she's happy to see that or irritated that he hasn't said anything...then again, it's Squall, so she shrugs it off a bit. ] I haven't seen him at all, either.

I can't imagine what you might have done, either; that's why it's so... frustrating. [ She sighs again, more resigned than exasperated, and you can hear the smile in her voice when she speaks next. ]

Don't worry, he's probably just being touchy. I'll definitely give him a talking-to.

[ But her tone drops again on the subject of Squall. ] It was fully two weeks after I arrived that I spoke to him. I've only spoken to him once since, too, and I've been here almost six weeks, now. It's almost like we're going to have to break him in all over again, or something. [ She sounds like she's trying to make this lighthearted, but her voice doesn't lend itself to the idea. ]

[Aerith is just going to giggle from Rinoa's little outburst because it's hard to find someone who would actually do that in public.]

There's nothing wrong in trying to get your feelings out into the open, especially to give the person ignoring you a piece of your mind.

[Giving her a smile.]

There's various ways to earn money, from winning pokemon battles to finding a good job. I believe Cherrygrove has a Pokemon Center, Pokemart, and a few restaurants where you could work in. Just ask and they'll give you the job almost immidiately.

[ She's...certainly special, but hey, have a smile in return. ]

I figure he probably won't listen if I just bug him, so I might as well get it all out!

[ She listens and nods for the next bit. ] I'll look into it, then! Thank you for the information.

[She couldn't help laugh softly at her words.]

As long as it helps you feel better, then it's just as good as bugging said rude person.

[Nodding her head.] Don't worry, it was the least I can do, miss. We were all new to this world once, you know.

And who knows? Maybe he caught that, and will think twice the next time he wants to be a meanie! [ ...Hey, a girl can dream? ]

You're so nice! See, more people should be like you. [ Grin. ]

...I'm Rinoa, by the way!

It's another possibility. One never knows, right? [Don't worry, Aerith is the optimistic type, so she'll dream along with her.

At her words, she couldn't help blush lightly while giggling a bit.]

It's funny how you said that because there is actually another me in this world.

[A small smile appeared on her lips at the introduction.] I'm Aerith. It's nice to meet you Ri--oh! [It was at that instant when she realized her name was...Rinoa. Could it be?]

[Could she be the very same Rinoa? The one Leon told her so much about. Was she the very same girl? Aerith couldn't help try to remember the description Leon gave to her about his Rinoa.]

[Which wasn't very helpful because she could clearly remember he said Rinoa had dark hair and...was it dark eyes too? O-Okay. Maybe Leon didn't give her the best description about her, but she knew Rinoa was important to him.

Then again, she has no idea if this could be the same Rinoa or just a girl that happens to have the same name. Aerith couldn't help wonder if she was or wasn't the same girl.]
